# Get quotas

> Inspect Batch row and token limits by priority.

Configure your [deployment URL and API key](/reference/authentication) before
using this example.

Quotas apply to the Batch account associated with your API key. Read the limits
before submitting a large job.

<ParamField header="Authorization" type="string" required>
  Deployment API key in the form `Key YOUR_SUTRO_API_KEY`.
</ParamField>

```bash theme={null}
curl --fail-with-body "${SUTRO_API_URL%/}/v1/get-quotas" \
  -H "Authorization: Key $SUTRO_API_KEY"
```

## Response

The response is `{ "quotas": [...] }`. Each entry contains:

| Field | Type | Meaning |
| - | - | - |
| `priority` | integer | `0` for prototyping or `1` for production |
| `row_quota` | integer | Maximum rows for that priority |
| `token_quota` | integer | Maximum tokens for that priority |

See [job priority and SLA](/batch/run-model#job-priority-and-sla) for how to
choose a workload class. The same information is available through
`so.get_quotas()` in Python or `sutro quotas` in the CLI.
